15 Years of HBOT Leadership & Excellence
South India’s pioneer Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Unit commemorates 15 years of clinical excellence, innovation, and patient healing.

Pioneering Advanced Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in South India
With immense pride and gratitude, we celebrate the Crystal Jubilee of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Unit at Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute (JMMC & RI), Thrissur. Established in 2011 under the Department of Plastic Surgery and Burns, it was among South India's first dedicated HBOT centers and the nation's first burn unit to integrate hyperbaric oxygen into standard burn protocols.
Over 15 years, our unit has delivered more than 12,000 hyperbaric sessions to over 1,500 patients, treating acute trauma, radiation necrosis, non-healing diabetic foot ulcers, chronic osteomyelitis, and sudden sensorineural hearing loss.
Honoring Our Journey of Clinical Evolution
